Leadership Team 

By building a community of people committed to bettering the lives of patients with renal disease, DaVita® Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) strives to improve the overall health of our patients while reducing healthcare costs.

DaVita IKC’s Medical Advisory Board is comprised of some of the nation’s leading nephrologists, including external independent practicing nephrologists. The board guides DaVita IKC in establishing clinical performance standards, benchmarks and protocols. 

DaVita IKC reports directly to DaVita Kidney Care leadership, Javier Rodriguez, CEO and Allen Nissenson, MD, CMO.

Todd Ezrine

General Manager, Group Vice President

Todd Ezrine joined DaVita IKC in 2011 and is leading our transition to integrated care as the industry moves from fee-for-service to value-based reimbursement. Todd serves as the senior executive leader for DaVita IKC and DaVita Kidney Care’s Clinical Enterprise. Before DaVita, Mr. Ezrine spent five years as president and general manager for Global Medical Imaging. Before that, he held various corporate strategy, business development and consulting roles at Underwriters Laboratories and Bain & Company. Mr. Ezrine received his MBA from the University of Michigan and earned a BS in biology from Washington and Lee University.

Bryan Becker, MD, MMM, FACP, CPE

Vice President, Integrated Care and Chief Medical Officer

Bryan Becker, MD joined DaVita IKC in 2016. As CMO for DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC), Dr. Becker provides clinical leadership for our model of care and integrated care programs—including our ESRD Seamless Care Organizations (ESCOs), ESRD Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs) and renal population health programs with payor and provider partners.  Prior to joining DaVita, Dr. Becker served as President of the University of Chicago Medicine (UCM) Care Network, and Vice President, Clinical Integration and Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs at UCM. Earlier in his career, he led the nephrology group at the University of Wisconsin, developed Wisconsin Dialysis, Inc, a new kidney care venture, and served as CEO at the University of Illinois Hospital and Clinics. He is also a past president of the National Kidney Foundation. Dr. Becker received his AB in English at Dartmouth College and his medical degree from the University of Kansas.  

Nathan Lohmeyer

Vice President, Government Programs

Nathan Lohmeyer joined DaVita IKC in 2011 and leads integrated kidney care for DaVita’s Government programs.  These programs include ongoing development and operations of ESRD Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs) and ESRD Seamless Care Organizations (ESCOs).  In this role, Nathan orchestrates the delivery of a broad range of clinical and social services to ESRD patients to help improve their overall healthcare related quality of life.  In addition, Nathan leads development of integrated care policy nationally, in conjunction with the broader renal community, working with policy leaders, HHS/CMS/CMMI, and other governmental organizations to promote and improve integrated care delivery models for kidney patients. Mr. Lohmeyer previously worked in healthcare consulting and has a BBA in Finance from Notre Dame.

Martha Wofford

Group Vice President, Commercial Operations, Patient Experience, Patient Education 

Martha Wofford joined DaVita and DaVita IKC in 2014. Ms. Wofford leads commercial operations for DaVita IKC as well as patient experience and patient education for DaVita Kidney Care. From 2014-2015, she served as the Interim CEO of FullWell, a joint venture between DaVita Healthcare Partners and Centura Health. Prior to DaVita, Ms. Wofford served at Aetna for nine years in various strategic leadership roles, including General Manager of the Northeast Region for the Consumer Segment, Head of the Consumer Platform and Head of Product and Strategy for Aetna’s Commercial and Medicare businesses. Earlier in her career she was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and also served in the Clinton Administration for over six years in legislative affairs and communications roles. Ms. Wofford received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in history from Swarthmore College.

Andrew Kin

Vice President, Clinical Enterprise

Mr. Andrew Kin joined DaVita IKC in 2013 and in 2017 assumed operational leadership for DaVita Kidney Care’s Clinical Enterprise, partnering with DaVita IKC to evolve our clinical model of care for both fee for service and at-risk programs.  Prior to assuming operational leadership for Clinical Enterprise, in partnership with DaVita’s CMO Dr. Allen Nissenson, Mr. Kin led national ESRD operations across all DaVita IKC programs. He was a past principal at Bain & Company, where he spent 10 years driving growth and operations excellence at Fortune 500 and mid-market firms. Mr. Kin received his MBA from Stanford and earned an AB in applied mathematics and computer science from Harvard.

Stephen Bentfield, JD

Group General Counsel 

Stephen Bentfield joined DaVita IKC in 2013 and serves as chief legal counsel. He is instrumental in advancing government, payor and health system integrated care programs and partnerships, as well as managing DaVita IKC’s day-to-day legal operations.  Prior to joining DaVita IKC, Mr. Bentfield previously served as associate attorney with Mintz Levin’s Health Law Section in Washington, DC, focusing on transactional and regulatory healthcare issues. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Bentfield was press secretary for the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, and legislative correspondent for the Office of United States Senator John H. Chafee. Mr. Bentfield received his JD from Suffolk University and a BA in government and psychology from St. Lawrence University. Mr. Bentfield is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, and holds single client admission in Colorado.

Eric Franco

Vice President, Finance

Eric Franco joined DaVita IKC in 2007. He oversees finance and reporting and provides strategic support for DaVita IKC’s government, payor and health system programs. Mr. Franco started with DaVita IKC’s parent company, DaVita, in 2002 and served in various finance and strategy roles for DaVita and its subsidiaries, including physician practice consulting and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) services. Before joining DaVita, he was a consultant with Bain & Company and a finance manager with Procter & Gamble, Inc.  Mr. Franco received his MBA from Stanford and a dual-BS degree in management engineering and economics from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
